Dear DeBerry Families:

Welcome back, to our returning and new DeBerry families! Our DeBerry team is energized and ready to continue the work of providing your child with quality instruction and learning experiences.  I am proud of our DeBerry community and look forward to working closely with you all as we continue to engage our students in their learning back in person. While supporting all students, families, and staff as we navigate our way out of this historic pandemic, our school will continue with our DeBerry mission which is to achieve academic excellence, demonstrate respectful and responsible behavior, and develop passion for learning.

We need your help to accomplish this mission! Please see the following bulleted items.

  • Fill out the parent Emergency Form to update information: It will be sent home on the first day of school. Fill out and return all additional forms sent home.
  • Make sure your child attends school on time 8:30-3:30 daily dressed in uniform.
  • Communicate with your child’s teachers through email and Class Dojo to support your child’s success!
  • Follow the Parent Portal instructions to stay up to date on student progress.

There will be many opportunities during the school year for families to get involved in our school community. We look forward to having you being a part of as many of these events as possible!  We also invite you to be a part of the DeBerry PTO. Let’s keep parent engagement going! Please speak to our Parent Facilitator, Mrs. Mattie Jenkins, or the PTO President, Santa Pagan to see how you can get involved. Any member of a DeBerry student’s family is welcome to share in attending PTO meetings.
